The airfield Höllenberg is a special airfield in northern Hesse . It is located about five kilometers southwest of the city of Bad Karlshafen . The place is operated by the air sports club Hölleberg. The airfield is approved for gliders , microlights , motor gliders and powered aircraft with an MTOW of up to two tons and helicopters up to an MTOW of 5.7 tons.
