Four Nations Chess League 2013/14

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2013/14 season was the 21st season of the Four Nations Chess League (4NCL).

Champion became the defending champion Guildford A&DC , who won all competitions. Kings Head , Pandora's Box Grantham (who joined the Grantham Sharks as a second team through the merger with the Slough Sharks ), 3Cs Oldham and Oxford were promoted from Division 2 . In purely sporting terms, all four newly promoted players would have been relegated immediately, but since the Wood Green Hilsmark Kingfisher withdrew their second team after the season, Oxford still managed to stay up.

For the reported team squad, see the team squad of the Four Nations Chess League 2013/14 .
