Franck Tabanou (born January 30, 1989 in Thiais ) is a French football player who is under contract with the English first division club Swansea City . It is currently awarded to the Granada FC .
Career
society
Tabanou was born in the municipality of Thiais near Paris and began playing football at the age of nine in the neighboring town of Choisy-le-Roi . In his youth he was also active for the clubs Le Havre AC and the training club CFF Paris , before moving to Toulouse FC in 2006 .
There Tabanou was first used in the U-18 team and for the amateur team in the Championnat de France Amateur . In two years he played there 26 times and scored two goals. From the 2008/09 season he was part of the professional team and finally made his professional debut in Ligue 1 in the second half of the season on May 2, 2009 (34th match day) against Olympique Marseille . Two days later he signed his first professional contract and was also used in the following four games until the end of the season.
In the 2009/10 season Tabanou played regularly and came to a total of 33 games in the French elite league. On January 16, 2010 (20th match day) he scored his first two goals in professional football in a 3-1 win over Valenciennes FC . He achieved another brace on matchday 32 against Grenoble Foot 38 . On September 17, 2009 he made his international debut against FK Partizan Belgrade , playing in five group games in the UEFA Europa League in 2009/10 . In the 2010/11 season he was also an integral part of the TFC and was able to score four goals in 34 league games.
Tabanou moved to Swansea City on June 19, 2015 . After he had not played a competitive game for the club in the Premier League until January 2016, he was loaned to AS Saint-Étienne until the end of the 2015/16 season .
National team
Tabanou played three of the four games for the French U-20 national team at the 2009 Mediterranean Games . After his good performance at the club, he was appointed to the squad of the French U-21 national team in the same year and played in numerous qualifying games for the 2011 U-21 European Championship , for the first time on October 9, 2009 against Malta. However, Tabanou and his team did not qualify for the finals in Denmark.
