Franclina (German Franzlina , 1939–45 Franklin ) is a district of the municipality of Trusnov in the Czech Republic . It is located nine kilometers northwest of Vysoké Mýto and belongs to the Okres Pardubice .
geography
The street village Franclina is in the west of the Choceňská tabule ( Chotzener Tafel ) on the left side above the valley of the Lodrantka on a meadow . To the northwest lies the Lodrant pond, to the northeast the Franclinský rybník - both are fed by the Lodrantka.
Neighboring towns are Obora and Vysoká u Holic in the north, Jaroslav in the northeast, Bory and Týnišťko in the east, Janovičky and Žíka in the southeast, Sedlíšťka in the south, Opočno and Uhersko in the southwest, Trusnov in the west and Litětiny in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of Franclina was in 1683 as part of the Chroustovice estate .
In 1835, the in consisted Chrudim District Dominikaldörfchen situated Franz Lina and Francesco Lina from 9 houses in which 56 people, including two Protestant families lived. There was an inn in the village. The parish was Uhersko . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village of the allodial rule Chraustowitz remained inactive.
After the abolition of patrimonial Franclina formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Trusnov in the judicial district Hohenmauth . From 1868 the village belonged to the political district Hohenmauth . In 1869 Franclina had 52 inhabitants and consisted of 10 houses. In 1900 there were 42 people in the village, compared to 45 in 1930. In 1949 Franclina was assigned to the Okres Holice, since 1960 the village has belonged to the Okres Pardubice . In the 2001 census, 24 people lived in Franclina's 12 houses.
