Vysoká u Holic (German Wysoka , 1939–45 Wissoka near Holitz ) is a district of the municipality Ostřetín in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers southeast of Holice and belongs to the Okres Pardubice .
geography
Vysoká u Holic is located in the western foothills of the Choceňská tabule ( Chotzener Tafel ) at a tributary to the Struha. The village is crossed by the state road I / 35 / E 442 between Holice and Vysoké Mýto , from which the state road II / 322 to Dašice branches off in the village . The Sychrova (289 m nm) rises to the northwest. To the south are the Obora and Lodrant ponds.
Neighboring towns are Horní Jelení and Jezírek in the Northeast, Prochody and Újezd u Chocně the east, Jaroslav the southeast, Obora, Bory, Zika , Francesco Lina and Trusnov in the south, Najlust and Čeradice in the southwest, Litětiny, Horní Roveň and Dolní Roveň in the west and Rovensko and Ostřetín in the northwest.
history
Vysoká was first mentioned in writing in 1454. The village, located on an old trade route, belonged to the Zámrsk rule for centuries . At the time of the Bohemian Queen Maria Theresa , the road was extended to the main connection between Olomouc , Königgrätz and Josefstadt .
In 1835 the village of Wysoka in Chrudim County consisted of 46 houses in which 271 people lived. There was an inn in the village. The parish was Wostřetin . Until the middle of the 19th century, Wysoka remained subject to the allodial property Zamrsk.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Vysoká u Holice 1849 a municipality in the judicial district Holitz . From 1868 the village belonged to the political district of Pardubice . In 1869 Vysoká u Holice had 291 inhabitants and consisted of 53 houses. At the end of the 19th century the name of the municipality was changed to Vysoká u Holic . In 1900 there were 316 people living in the parish, in 1930 there were 278. In 1949 Vysoká u Holic was assigned to Okres Holice, since 1960 the parish has again belonged to Okres Pardubice . In 1961 it was incorporated into Ostřetín . In the 2001 census, 164 people lived in the 66 houses of Vysoká u Holic.
