Stars from Lale Andersen to Romy Schneider to Inge Meysel , from Manfred Krug and Diether Krebs to Christoph Bantzer acted in front of his camera . In 1989 he received the Golden Camera award for his life's work .

Frank Banuscher was married to the picture columnist Doris Banuscher. He died in October 2008 at the age of 76.
