Frank Neßlage
Frank Neßlage (also Frank Nesslage) (born December 19, 1969 in Quakenbrück ) is a German photographer and director .
Life
After graduating from high school at Quakenbrücker Artland-Gymnasium, Frank Neßlage completed an apprenticeship as a photographer at Studio Seekamp in Bremen. He graduated in 1994 as state winner Bremen and 3rd national winner and thus received 3 years of gifted education. Since then he has been working as a freelance photographer. After his first exhibitions and publications, he had his breakthrough in 1998 with the “Hot Choc” exhibition, which was featured in 28 television programs and thus reached over 40 million people. It was also discussed in 160 daily newspapers and photos of the exhibition were published in 20 magazines. Neßlage, sponsored by the chocolatier Hachez , showed chocolate erotic works of art and proved a good timing with a live performance on Valentine's Day. An editor of the TAZ wrote that "the media hype was bigger than with Michael Jackson".
Since then he has worked for magazines and advertisers, mainly in the fields of celebrities, fashion and advertising. He has published his photos in three books.
He photographed celebrities such as Vitali Klitschko and Wladimir Klitschko , Gene Simmons and Tommy Thayer von Kiss , Dirk Nowitzki , Uwe Seeler , Ralf Möller , Rudolph Moshammer , Sido , Matthias Schweighöfer , Bettina Zimmermann , Jasmin Wagner , Sarah Connor and Jürgen Drews .
Frank Neßlage, who originally wanted to become a director, has also been making films since 2015. He has been married since 2014.
