The Free Pyramid World Championship 2011 was the 13th edition of the World Championship in the Free Pyramid , a discipline of Russian billiards . It took place in Kiev from October 20 to 23, 2011 . The Ukrainian capital was after 2007 the World Cup for the second time the venue.
After 2003 the Ukrainian Jaroslaw Wynokur became world champion for the second time , defeating the Armenian Armen Gabrielian 7-3 in the final. Third place went to Jaroslaw Tarnovezkyj and Widschai Drangoi . The defending champion was the Kyrgyz Kanybek Sagynbajew , who was eliminated in the round of 64 against Alibek Omarov .

The 103 participants initially competed against each other in a double knockout system . 64 players qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
