The combined pyramid world championship 2019 was the twelfth edition of the world championship in the combined pyramid billiards discipline . It took place from February 25 to March 2, 2019 in Khanty-Mansiysk .
The defending champion Iossif Abramow became world champion with a 6-2 final victory against the Moldovan Sergei Kryzhanovsky . The 17-year-old Russian was the second player after Yevgeny Stalew (2000) to win a world title in Russian billiards twice in a row and the first player to do so in this discipline. At the same time he became the youngest two-time world champion in Russian billiards.
The Kyrgyz Kanat Sydykow and Dastan Lepschakow shared third place as semi-finalists. Lepschakow had lost the final to Abramov two years earlier. The two participants from Germany, Vitali Gerber and Dieter Johns , who competed for the USA , suffered 6-0 defeats at the beginning.

In the final, defending champion Iossif Abramov met Moldovan Sergei Kryzhanovsky , who three months earlier had become world champion in the free pyramid discipline for the second time since 2014 . It was also the third World Cup final for the Russian, after his combined pyramid success in 2017 , he was runner-up in the dynamic pyramid in 2018 .
Abramow had the better start in the final, with a 1-0 lead and finally taking a 3-1 lead after equalizing. Kryzhanovsky reduced it again to 2: 3, but Abramov won the following three games and secured his second world title with a 6: 2 victory. At 17 years, 10 months and 21 days he was the fourth youngest world champion in Russian billiards . Only Nikita Liwada ( 2011 ), Älichan Qaranejew ( 2008 ) and himself (2017) had won a World Cup at a younger age.
