Yernar Sadituly Tschimbajew ( Kazakh Ернар Садитұлы Чимбаев , Russian Ернар Садитович Чимбаев Yernar Saditowitsch Tschimbajew , English transcription: Ernar Chimbaev13. April 1988 ) is a Kazakh billiard players from Almaty , in the billiard variant Russian billiards compete.

He became world champion in the combined pyramid discipline in 2010 and vice world champion in the free pyramid in 2015 .

Career

2007–2012: beginnings and world championship title

From 2007 Tschimbajew took part regularly in the Asian Open , but always dropped out early. In February 2008 his first participation in a world championship followed, the Combined Pyramid World Cup in Almaty , in which, however, he was eliminated without a win in the preliminary round. At the 2009 World Cup he managed to win, but after two defeats it was again over in the preliminary round. The preliminary round also followed at the Asian Open 2009 and the Kremlin Cup .

In February 2010, Tschimbajew made it into the finals for the first time at the Combined Pyramid World Cup . He then defeated Andrei Freise , Arnal Ormokeev and Ikram Akhmetov, among others , and surprisingly became world champion with a 6-2 final win over Kanybek Sagynbajew . After Älichan Qaranejew and Äujes Jeljubajew he was the third Kazakh world champion of this discipline in a row. He also achieved better results at other tournaments of the year, such as the quarter-finals at the Billardstars tournament in Nur-Sultan and the second round at the Asian Open . At the Kremlin Cup he was seeded in the round of 16 and lost there against Wladislaw Osminin . At the end of the year he played in Willingen at the World Cup in the Free Pyramid and was eliminated after two defeats in three preliminary round matches.

At the beginning of 2011 Tschimbajew reached the second round of the Combined Pyramid World Cup , in which the defending champion had to admit defeat to eventual world champion Nikita Liwada 2: 5. After he had reached the quarter-finals at the Governor's Cup in Kemerovo , among other things , he was eliminated from the Asian Open 2011 in the preliminary round. At the Free Pyramid World Cup , he reached the round of 64. In the same round he failed at the Kremlin Cup . At the Champions Cup , an invitation tournament with 16 participants, a first round defeat followed.

In January 2012 Tschimbayew moved in the combined pyramid discipline for the first time in the final of a Kazakh championship and lost 4-5 against Asat Tümenow . At the Governors ' Cup in Kemerovo, he reached the semi-finals in 2012 and the second round of the Combined Pyramid World Cup . In May he became Kazakh champion for the first time; in the final in the Free Pyramid he prevailed against Älibek Omarow 7: 5. Some early defeats followed by the end of the year, for example at the Asian Open and the Kremlin Cup in the sixteenth finals, at the Free Pyramid World Cup in the round of 64 and at the World Cup in the Dynamic Pyramid , in which he participated for the first time in 2012, he remained without a win in the preliminary round.

2013–2015: Vice World Champion

At the beginning of 2013 Tschimbayew reached the sixteenth finals at the Combined Pyramid World Cup . A few weeks later he became Kazakh champion for the second time, this time in the Dynamic Pyramid by beating Aidos Tughanbayev 7-6 in the final . In the other two disciplines, however, he dropped out early at the national level. After reaching the quarter-finals in two tournaments in Bishkek and in the Tülkibas district , he narrowly missed the last sixteen at the Dynamic Pyramid World Cup with three wins from five preliminary round matches. A little later he was together with Aidos Tughanbajew and Asat Tümenow second in the Kazakh team championship. At the end of the year he took fourth place in the absolute Kazakh championship and was eliminated from the Kremlin Cup in the round of 128 against the eventual winner Wladislaw Osminin .

At the Kazakh Championships in 2014, he did not get past the quarter-finals. In April 2014 Tschimbajew moved into the final of the Prince Open , in which he narrowly defeated the Uzbek Aleksandr Sidorov 5-6 . After more than four years, he made it past the last sixteen for the first time in August 2014 at a World Cup. He reached the quarter-finals in the combined pyramid and lost there against Nikita Liwada . In the dynamic pyramid he reached the semifinals, in which he was defeated by his compatriot Dauren Urynbajew . In November 2014 he reached the round of 16 at the Kremlin Cup and the Free Pyramid World Cup . A month later he moved into the final of the Kazakh Independence Cup, in which he lost 4-5 to Maxim Pan .

At the beginning of 2015, Tschimbayew won the bronze medal at the Kazakh championship in the combined pyramid. In the other two national competitions, however, he failed in the sixteenth finals. At the Combined Pyramid World Cup in 2015 , he was eliminated in the preliminary round. A little later, he took seventh place in the superfinals of the World Championships , an invitation tournament for the eleven best players from the previous year's World Championships, and reached the quarter-finals at the Prince Open and the Free Pyramid European Championship . However, he was eliminated from the Asian Open and the Kremlin Cup in the round of 32. At the Kazakh team championship he was second again after 2013, this time together with Arbi Muzijew and Älichan Qaranejew . In December 2015 he moved into a World Cup final for the second time. At the Free Pyramid World Cup he had defeated Artur Piwtschenko , Arbi Muzijew, defending champion Serghei Krîjanovski and Duren Urynbajew, among others , before he had to admit defeat to Russian Wladislaw Osminin 4-7 in the final.

Since 2016: Establishment at the national top

In January 2016, Tschimbajew became Kazakh champion in the dynamic pyramid with a 7: 5 final victory against Dänen Urynbajew . In the same year he won the bronze medal at the national level in the other two disciplines and at the team championship. In February he left the Super Final of the World Cup in the quarter-finals and a few weeks later in the Combined pyramid World Cup in the Round of 32. In October he arrived at the Dynamic Pyramid World Cup quarter-finals, in which he compared Älichan Qaranejew lost . A few days later he won the title of absolute Kazakh champion in the final against Dacern Urynbayev . Shortly afterwards he achieved his best result to date at the Kremlin Cup by reaching the quarter-finals, in which he lost to Älibek Omarow . At the Free Pyramid World Cup in 2016, he lost to the Ukrainian Bohdan Rybalko in the round of 16 .

At the Combined Pyramid World Cup 2017 he was eliminated in the round of 64. In May 2017 he reached the final of the Moscow Mayor's Cup and lost 6-2 to Sergei Goryslavets . A little later he was eliminated from the Ajara Open in the round of 32. In September 2017, Russian billiards was part of the sports program at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan for the first time . As one of two Kazakh representatives, Tschimbajew took part in the Free Pyramid competition and reached the final, in which he had to admit defeat to the Turkmen Ibabekir Bekdurdyjew with 1: 5. Later in the year he reached the second round at the Prince Open and was eliminated from the Savvidi Cup in the sixteenth finals and the Swojaka Cup in the round of 24.

At the beginning of 2018 Tschimbajew reached the round of 32 at the Free Pyramid World Cup and the Dynamic Pyramid World Cup . In May 2018 he became Kazakhstani champion in the dynamic pyramid for the second time with a 6-2 final victory over Schanserik Nijetalijew . This was followed by several early defeats, for example at the Ajara Open and the Kremlin Cup in the round of 32 and at the Savvidi Cup in the round of 128. At the end of 2018, the free-pyramid-M also made the sixteenth-finals.

In February 2019, Tschimbayew became Kazakh champion for the fifth time when he beat Älibek Omarow 6: 4 in the final of the Combined Pyramid. A little later he reached the round of 32 at the Combined Pyramid World Cup and was eliminated in the last 64 of the World Cup . In May he won the bronze medal at the national championship in the Free Pyramid. At the Free Pyramid World Cup 2019 , he retired without a win in the preliminary round after defeats against Kairat Absatarow and Bachtowar Abdullojew . A few weeks later he reached the round of 16 at the Kremlin Cup . At the Savvidi Cup 2019 he was defeated by defending champion Dastan Lepschakow in the round of 32 .

At the beginning of 2020, Tschimbajew won the Kazakh Cup in the Combined Pyramid with a 5-0 final victory against Arbi Muzijew . In the Dynamic Pyramid, however, he was eliminated in the round of 16.

snooker

Tschimbajew also occasionally plays snooker . In February 2017 he won the bronze medal at the Kazakh championship in 6-red snooker .
