Freistil was a German-speaking pop band from Stuttgart . She released two albums on BMG Ariola . The album Alles ist neu was released in 2001 and in 2003 it was followed by Hörst du mein Lieder , which was produced by Dieter Falk . In Hartmut Engler from Pur , the band had a mentor who supported them and invited them to his preliminary program.

Freestyle played tours with O-Town , B3 and took part in the preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 . The teen band was featured in Bravo and YAM magazines .

Singer Philipp Schmid now writes songs as a singer-songwriter for himself and for other artists such as Thomas Godoj , Alexander Klaws , Staubkind or the film Hanni & Nanni .
