Freyenstein is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Neustadtl an der Donau in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria . The cadastral community bears the name Freienstein .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were exactly 34 building areas with a total of 8,211 m² and 46 gardens on 64054 m² in the cadastral community. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 144, on which 74 buildings stood. In 2009/2010 there were 76 buildings on 148 construction areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 62 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 202 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 34 hectares and 229 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 28 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 232 hectares. The average soil climate number of Freienstein is 28.6 (as of 2010).
