Windpassing is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Neustadtl an der Donau municipality in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were 62 building areas on a total of 35003 m² and 38 gardens on 92.485 m², in 1989/1990 there were already 63 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 184, with 121 buildings existing and in 2009/2010 there were 119 buildings on 228 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is predominantly agricultural. 406 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 208 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 382 hectares and 230 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 364 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 236 hectares. The average soil climate number of Windpassing is 30.7 (as of 2010).
