Friedrich Hennings (architect)

Friedrich (Fritz) Hennings (born July 8, 1872 in Schwerin ; † after 1937) was a German architect .

Life

Hennings studied architecture at the Technical University of Charlottenburg from 1892 to 1896 . Before the First World War he later worked with his brother Wilhelm (* 1874) in a shared office in Berlin . After his brother left in the late 1920s, he developed his method of building in the direction of New Building . Together with Albert Gessner , Bruno Möhring , Rudolf Möhring and Franz Seeck , he planned the Ostender Strasse residential complex in Berlin-Wedding .
