Fritz Barth (actor)

Fritz Barth (* 1968 in Kusel ) is a German actor and author .

Life

Barth comes from the Palatinate . From 1990 to 1993 he completed private acting training in Regensburg with Peter Nüesch ( Turmtheater Regensburg ). He received lessons in movement and dance from Astrid Vosberg. From 1997 to 1999 he attended the speaking classes of Gustl Weishappel as a scholarship holder of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . Workshops and seminars in camera work and film presentation at the International Film School Cologne (IFS) followed later .

Barth is the author of the theater solo program “ From the life of a good-for-nothing ”, with which he has toured Germany several times. In 2010 he performed his solo at the Mayen Castle Festival . In the summer of 2015 he played a double role as Hans Moser and Heinz Rühmann in Josef Berlinger's new play "Der Brandner Kasper in der Hölle" at Hohengebraching Castle . In the 2015/16 season Fritz Barth could be seen in the play "The Secret Lives of Henry and Alice" by David Tristram at the Landestheater Oberpfalz .

Barth took on leading roles in the areas of drama, musical and operetta. He was a permanent member of the ensemble in the TV comedy series "Du mich auch" (SWR), where u. a. Diether Krebs , Maren Kroymann , Lilo Wanders and Markus Maria Profitlich were his partners. In 2006 he played the leading role in the movie " Aphrodite's Night " by Carolin Otto ; he played the pianist Patrick.

He had leading episode roles in the ZDF crime series “ Die Rosenheim-Cops ” (2012; as deputy choir director Martin Wegmann) and “ Die Garmisch-Cops ” (2014; as Ludwig Weber, the murdered man's brother). In October 2015, Barth was seen again in a leading role in the ZDF series "Die Rosenheim-Cops". In the episode "The Last Tango" he played the building contractor and architect Oliver Kerner, the murder victim's best friend.

He took on the role of the narrator in the documentary film "Hannah Arendt - The Girl from Strange", which was awarded the World Media Award for best documentary in 2008.

In 2015 he was given a guest teaching position in the field of screenwriting and scenic representation at the University of Film and Television (HFF) in Munich. Fritz Barth lives in Regensburg.
