The Frohnbach is an approximately 200 m long orographic left tributary of the Moorbach in the Rhineland-Palatinate districts of Kaiserslautern and Kusel .

The Frohnbach rises in the natural area Lichtenberg-Höhenrück at an altitude of 336 m above sea level. NHN on the south side of the Kahlenberg ( 396 m ) in an in-floor When Kahlenborn lying fat meadow . Its source is located in the Kusel district south of the Relsberg community, which is part of the Lauterecken-Wolfstein association .
The stream initially flows southeast through the meadow, then briefly marks the border between the Kusel district on its left and the Kaiserslautern district on the right and finally flows from the left at an altitude of 326 m into the Moorbach coming from the southwest .

The Frohnbach drains over the Moorbach , the Odenbach , the Glan , the Nahe and the Rhine into the North Sea . The difference in altitude from its source to its mouth is 10 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 50.0 ‰ over a length of 0.2 km.
