Relsberg is a municipality in the Kusel district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Lauterecken-Wolfstein association.

The place is located in the North Palatinate mountains . Einöllen is in the northwest , Hefersweiler in the northeast , Niederkirchen in the southwest and Morbach, which belongs to Niederkirchen , to the south .

history

Relsberg was first mentioned in a document in 1432/1462. It belonged to the Reipoltskirchen rule .

Municipal council

The council in Relsberg consists of six council members, who in the local elections on May 26, 2019 in a majority vote were elected, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
