Buildings
The landmark of St. Julian is the important, arched evangelical parish church.
Only the slender tower from the 12th century standing to the side of the medieval church was retained when the nave was rebuilt in 1880/81 by the Bavarian construction officials Zellner and von Schacky. The result is an impressive hall structure with a subsequent vaulted choir. The flat ceiling rests on openwork consoles. There is a surrounding wooden gallery on three sides. The architects used a Venetian window shape here. A horizontal rung divides the elongated windows into two zones. The furnishings from the time of construction have been completely preserved.
Economy and Infrastructure
There is a kindergarten and a primary school in Sankt Julian .
The federal highway 420 runs through the village . The Glantalbahn , which with Eschenau (Palatinate) and St. Julian had two stops within the local community, has been shut down in the SPNV since 1985 . There is a trolley service on it for day trippers . In Lauterecken there is a station of the Lautertalbahn .
