Günter Klein (politician, 1930)
Günter Klein (born May 27, 1930 in Wuppertal-Barmen ; † December 15, 1998 in Bremen ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ).
biography
education and profession
After graduating from high school in Wuppertal , Klein began studying law , economics and sociology at the University of Cologne , which he completed in 1959 with the second state examination in law. He then worked as a department head at the Düsseldorf state administration. From 1960 he worked as a law teacher and legal advisor and defense disciplinary attorney with the 4th Air Force Division of the German Armed Forces in Bremen. In 1971 he became a senior councilor.
politics
Klein joined the CDU and had been a member of the state board of the CDU Bremen and district board of Bremen-North since 1962. He was deputy state chairman of the Bremen Christian Democrats in 1969 and since 1974.
He had been a member of the Bremen citizenship since 1963 . For the period from 1971 to 1973 he was elected to succeed Hans-Hermann Sieling as chairman of the CDU parliamentary group; his successor was Bernd Neumann . At the same time he was on the district advisory board of Bremen- Burglesum . In the citizenry he was u. a. Member of the finance committee. He was chairman of the committee of inquiry into the building land scandal of 1969/70 against SPD Senator Wilhelm Blase and SPD parliamentary group leader Richard Boljahn .
In the 1990 Bundestag election, he was elected to the German Bundestag via the Bremen state list , to which he was a member until 1994.
