Rudolf Rübberdt
Rudolf Rübberdt ( December 1, 1905 - October 6, 1981 ) was a German economist , historian and politician ( CDU ). He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .
biography
education and profession
Rübberdt began studying law and political science as well as economics, which he completed with the examination as a graduate economist and in 1934 with his doctorate with the thesis: The economic societies: A contribution to the economic history of the 18th century at the University of Halle . In the Second World War he served as a soldier from 1944 to 1945. After the war he worked as an economic and social historian and freelance writer. Since 1949 he worked as an association syndic.
politics
Rübberdt joined the Reich Community of Young People's Party as a student and joined the DVP in the 1920s . In 1933/34 he was briefly a member of the SA . In 1937 he joined the NSDAP and the National Socialist People's Welfare (NSV). In 1948 he was denazified as a fellow traveler .
After 1945 he was a founding member of the BDV and in 1945/46 managing director of the BDV for five months. A transfer of the party to the CDU was unsuccessful. He then became a founding member of the CDU.
From 1955 to 1959 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship and was active in various deputations and committees of the citizenship. As the successor to Johannes Kühne, he was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group from 1955 to 1957 ; he was followed by Friedrich Carl Marwede in this office.
