Group sex
Group sex is a sexual practice that involves more than two people. If three people have sex with each other, this is called a triplet or, colloquially, a " threesome ".
Group sex is often practiced as a partner swap between two or more couples. Group sex often occurs at swinger parties and in specially set up swinger clubs .
history
As proven by cultural history , group sex was already known in antiquity , which was often practiced in the context of ritual bacchanalia and orgies , at symposia or in brothels.
The ancient Greeks were possibly the first people to make this topic public in their art, which e.g. B. has been preserved for posterity by the vases ( vase painting ) discovered in modern times . In the Roman Empire , the theme can be found, in addition to depictions of vases, primarily on frescoes from Pompeii , which was lost when Vesuvius erupted in AD 79. The wall paintings unearthed in Pompeii mostly come from thermal baths .
It can be assumed that the practice of communal sexual association has been known to many other peoples of the earth for millennia. There is artistic or literary evidence of this from some ancient high cultures such as India or China. Examples of this are the lavishly decorated Indian sun temple of Konark from the 13th century or in the temple district of Khajuraho, in addition to religious motifs, as well as a large number of depictions that are now known as group sex. These very detailed motifs can be seen in a religious context.
Some of the illustrations in the world-famous Kamasutra also show several partners playing. It's not about religiosity, it's just about fun and fulfillment.
practice
Today, group sex is often practiced in swinger clubs or at well-known meeting places such as quarry ponds, motorway parking lots and sex cinemas . Compared to this rather anonymous variant, group sex in private settings, i.e. the living room at home, has increased in the recent past. The Internet as an anonymous contact medium makes this much easier. Even in this private setting, group sex usually remains emotionally distant. Friendly relationships are not always desirable - many prefer so-called one-night stands - and relationships between partners often remain unstable.
Couples who want to "try" group sex may have U. the danger of damaging their relationship through jealousy or emotional reorientation. An important point here is mutual trust. Then having sex with one or more people can be enriching through shared experience.
As with other sexual practices, avoiding safer sex in group sex brings the risk of infection with sexually transmitted diseases such as B. AIDS with it.
Gangbang
A special form of group sex is gangbang , for which an extreme majority of dominant or active-penetrating participants and the alternating penetration of less submissive or passive-receptive participants is characteristic. In contrast, in a reverse gangbang, the receiving participants are in the vast majority. If the receiving participant exercises fellatio on a larger group of penetrating participants without being penetrated vaginally or anally , this is called a blowbang . The term comes from the English of gang ( "gang", "group" , colloquially also pack, hence called pack boom ) and bang ( vulgar for "coit") and originally referred to a group rape . In addition, the term is now used more widely, as described above.
Chemsex
The term chemsex has had a certain amount of public awareness since the 2010s . Chemsex is understood as human sexual intercourse under the influence of synthetic drugs. Drugs such as GHB , GBL , mephedrone , poppers and crystal meth are used . The phenomenon is well known from the international gay scene.
Drugs can increase libido; at the same time the threshold decreases unprotected intercourse to practice and so that the risk of infection with sexually transmitted diseases suspend. Doctors and drug experts therefore warn against Chemsex parties. Rising rates of HIV infection have been linked to gay chemsex parties.
Legal regulations
Group sex is usually considered a private matter, the practice of which is not sanctioned by the state within the limits prescribed by law in Germany , Austria and Switzerland .
In Germany, the lawyer Horst Fischer for carrying penal reform the government Kiesinger ( grand coalition ) under Federal Minister of Justice Gustav Heinemann in 1969 a collection of material together to prove that there exists in the Federal Republic of sexual conduct group and that there were a criminalization no basis:
- “Sexual group behavior has always existed. It is also a reality in Germany that a certain percentage of married couples meet for intimate intercourse with other married couples. If such cases are 'uncovered', then in Germany, as far as evidence can be produced, the husband must be convicted of 'serious pomposing ' on the basis of the criminal provision of Section 181 from 1900 . [...] One may reject sexual community practices from a moral point of view, but legally, a state that wants to call itself democratic has nothing to look for in the bedroom of adults who want to lead an intimate life according to their own opinion.
