The Garbeeke (also called Garbruchsgraben ) is an approx. 3 km long stream in the area of ​​the town of Bassum ( district of Diepholz , Lower Saxony ). Its source area is located south of the Bassum town center, directly west of the Bassum waste disposal center. From there it runs in a northerly direction, flows under the railway body of the Bremen-Osnabrück railway line and under the B 51 and flows into the Klosterbach in the Bassum town center at the " Freudenburg " . Along the water run the 60 draws ha large nature reserve Garbeeke out. Alder- break forest, alder ash forest and oak mixed forest grow on its damp locations in the valley .
