Gauradaha ( Nepali गौरादह ) is a city ( municipality ) in the extreme east of the Terai in Nepal in the Jhapa district .
Gauradaha received city rights in September 2015. On this occasion, the neighboring Village Development Committees Juropani , Kohabara and Maharanijhoda were incorporated. Gauradaha is 10 km south of Birtamod . The urban area covers 123.23 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Gauradaha had 47,393 inhabitants (22,293 of them male) in 10,819 households.
