Money or life! is the fifth album by the Austrian rock band Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung , released in 1985. It is the most successful of the band, reached number one in Austria and stayed in the local charts for 78 weeks.

The album was released on June 25, 1985 as LP and MC. In 1986 it was also released on CD. The songs Ba-Ba-Bank robbery , Prince Charming , Hot Nights in Palermo and Fata Morgana were released as singles. Ba-Ba-Bank robbery was also translated into English and published as Ba-Ba-Bankrobbery . On this album the performers appeared under the pseudonyms "Dreigoschenopa" ( Klaus Eberhartinger ), "Der Greifer" ( Thomas Spitzer ), "Kare Schwedenbitter" ( Nino Holm ), "Der Würger von Basston" ( Eik Breit ), "Inspektor Korrupnik" ( Anders Stenmo ) and "Mecky Esser" ( Günther Schönberger ).

According to Klaus Eberhartinger, the song Ba-Ba bank robbery is based on a true story. A bank robber in Munich is said to have threatened the cashier with his finger in his coat in order to fake a pistol. He then fled and lost his wallet in the bank.
