Werewolf attack - Monsterball is everywhere is the 15th studio album by the Austrian pop rock band Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung . It was released on January 30, 2015, five years after the previous album Neue Helden wird die Land . The album reached number one on the Austrian album charts and was awarded platinum for more than 15,000 units sold.

Publication and charts

The album was released on January 30th under the label Ariola and entered the album charts in Austria at number 1. There is a "download version" of the album on iTunes with a bonus track. Another edition (“Leberkas Edition”) is published exclusively in Austria by Libro .

particularities

Most of the music and lyrics are from Thomas Spitzer . Some of the tracks were composed with Mark Duran, who also arranged and produced them. The song "Lederhosen-Zombies" was criticized by many fans of Andreas Gabalier because there is an allusion to it. Klaus Eberhartinger confirmed, however, that the song was in no way an attack on Gabalier. The song Burli is processed in the song Mrs. Fuckushima . The background to this is the Fukushima nuclear disaster . From February 6, 2015, the EAV was on tour with this album, the premiere was in Fehring . From February to April 2015, Thomas Spitzer was back on stage with the EAV, after not having been on stage for four years.

At the Amadeus Awards 2016 , the album was nominated in the Album of the Year category.
