Frauenluder is the 12th studio album by the Austrian pop rock band Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung . It was released on April 28, 2003, five years after the previous studio album Himbeerland . The album reached number one on the Austrian album charts .

Publication and chart successes

The album was released on April 28, 2003 under the EMI Austria label. With this album, the contract with EMI expired. In Austria, the album entered the charts at number 1, stayed in the charts for 18 weeks and achieved gold status . In Germany it was in the album charts for a week, reaching number 90.

particularities

The music and lyrics come from Thomas Spitzer , except for the song Unter Den Bäumen (based on the song Über den Wolken by Reinhard Mey ) and for Jugendschutz , where the lyrics were created in collaboration with Klaus Eberhartinger . Some songs from the album - such as Frauenluder , Mein Gott , Ein Herz für Tiere and Eierfranz - were presented at around 20 summer concerts . The inlay for the CD was designed by Anna Neumeister-Spitzer, Thomas Spitzer's daughter, who also took part in the choir. The pictures for the inlay are from Thomas Spitzer.

The album was nominated for the 5th Amadeus Austrian Music Award 2004 in the category Pop / Rock national group .
