Watumba! is the eighth studio album by the Austrian pop group Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung and was released on November 21, 1991 .
Creation and publication
After the EAV received the World Music Award , the follow-up to Neppomuk's Rache was released , which was originally planned under the title Neppomuk's Return and consisted in part of material that had been created during the recording and tour of Neppomuk's Rache .

Music style and lyrics
The album continues the tried and tested method of humorously taking up socially critical topics and packing them into catchy pop songs that also process influences from rock , swing and rap . Skits recorded live are also part of the album.
reception
Watumba! was praised in the Musikexpress for the sitting punchlines, the courageous topics and the musical quality. The album reached number one in the Austrian album charts and stayed in the charts for 22 weeks, in Switzerland it was number fifteen, in Germany it was number seventeen. Watumba! received double platinum in Austria and gold in Germany.
