Hell is going on in heaven is the tenth studio album by the Austrian pop group Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung (EAV). It was released on August 25, 1997 . The album reached number one on the Austrian album charts.

History of origin

Klaus Eberhartinger and Thomas Spitzer wanted to release an album again after three years. A tour was not planned for the time being, but due to the success the EAV then went on tour. The new band members: Leo Bei on bass, Franz Zettl on keyboard and Kurt Keinrath, who already worked on the album Nie wieder Kunst, on guitar. At the start of the tour in 1998, Alex Deutsch was hired as a new drummer, as Anders Stenmo was unable to participate in the tour due to a sudden hearing loss.
