Georg Abraham von Grünberg (* August 24, 1603 ; † March 16, 1672 ) was a statesman from Brandenburg .

Life

Origin and family

Georg Abraham von Grünberg was a member of the Magdeburg noble family von Grünberg, named after Grünberg Castle . His parents were the Johanniter - Komtur von Lagow Abraham d. J. von Grünberg (1560–1627) and his first wife Sabine, née Freiin von Kittlitz .

Career

As early as 1625, Grünberg accompanied the Brandenburg princess Katharina (1602–1644) to her marriage to the Prince of Transylvania Gabriel Bethlen (1580–1629).
