Georg Haas (politician)

Johann Georg Haas (in official documents Johann Georg Haas II. ) (* November 12, 1835 in Hainstadt ; † December 15, 1898 ibid) was a Hessian farmer and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Georg Haas was the son of the farmer and linen weaver Georg Haas and his wife Eva Maria, née Old. Haas, who was Protestant, was a farmer and linen weaver in Hainstadt and married Christina nee Schäfer.

From 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 3 / Höchst . He was also mayor in Hainstadt.
