Georg Pyttel (born December 2, 1938 ) is a former German long-distance runner .
In 1968 with a time of 2:24:25 h and in 1969 in 2:20:10 h , Georg Pyttel was able to win the marathon in Wilhelmshaven , but also ran at the German Marathon Championships in 1969 in Wilhelmshaven, but only with 2:29:02 h in fourth place. In 1969 he was second in Bremerhaven with 1:24:40 h at the North German championships in the 25 km road race behind Alfons Ida (1:24:20 h, VfL Wolfsburg ) , the German champion in the 3000 meter obstacle course in 1964 . Fast Georg Pyttel ran the 25 km in Paderborn Easter Run , where he was fourth in 1969 h 1:20:38 and in 1970 with 1:20:46 hours was able to place fifth. Georg Pyttel achieved further victories in 1973 and 1974 at the Sensenstein Marathon , 1974 at the New Year's Eve in Kaufungen and in 1978 at the Hessentag Volkslauf in Hofgeismar on the occasion of the 18th Hessentag with the top runners Udo Engelbrecht , Reiner Gutschank , Erich Kruzycki , August Blumensaat and Manfred Steffny among the participants .
