George of Neufville
Georg Heinrich von Neufville (born October 27, 1883 in Frankfurt am Main ; † November 3, 1941 near Panovo, USSR ) was a German officer , free corps leader and National Socialist functionary.

Life
In 1902 Georg von Neufville became a flag boy in the Jäger Regiment on Horseback No. 3 . There he was promoted to lieutenant in 1904 retrospectively for 1903 . He later switched to the Leib-Guard Hussar Regiment. He took part in the First World War, from which he was discharged as a major . After the end of the war, he built the Voluntary Guard Landess Rifle Corps of Neufville.
He entered the Stahlhelm , in which he became regional leader in Baden and Württemberg. In 1933 he was appointed executive president of the Reich Board of Trustees for Youth Enhancement. He also became a member of the NSDAP and SA . In the latter he achieved the rank of brigade leader.
In the Reichstag election on March 29, 1936, he applied unsuccessfully to the NSDAP's nomination for a seat in the National Socialist Reichstag . He was living in Munich at the time .
After the Wehrmacht was founded , he got involved there, was promoted to colonel and took part in the Second World War. As commander of the 195 Infantry Regiment, he was seriously wounded on November 3, 1941 on the Eastern Front in the Mihailovskoje area 60 kilometers west of Moscow on the left bank of the Moscow River . He died the following day at the Panovo Medical Center. He was posthumously promoted to major general.
