Gerd Deutschmann (actor)

Gerd Deutschmann (born July 24, 1935 in Munich ; † December 21, 2011 there ) was a German actor .

Life

Deutschmann first played theater and earned his living as a taxi driver . Since the 1970s he has played various supporting roles on television, including in Tatort , in the series Löwengrube , Forsthaus Falkenau , White-Blue Stories and in Komödienstadl . He played in 1980 in the series Derrick (episode 70: A fatal price) with. It was also featured in several commercials , including for Milka's 300 gram bar. In 2006, he campaigned with David Beckham for Pepsi . From 2008 he worked for the German frozen food manufacturer Iglo performer Captain Iglo . In the radio play series The Grandauers and their time he played the sergeant Ringseis .

Deutschmann was married and had two daughters. He died on December 21, 2011 after a brief, serious illness.
