The German Bowl XXXVII (officially HYGIA German Bowl XXXVII ) was the final of the German Football League (GFL) in the 2015 season . It took place on October 10, 2015 in Berlin's Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark .
The defending champions were the New York Lions from Braunschweig .
In the final, the defending champion and the current northern champions, the New York Lions, and the current southern champions, the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns , faced each other. The same teams faced each other as in the final of the German Bowl XXXVI . The final won the New York Lions, who were able to secure this title for the tenth time. In contrast to the previous year, the Lions were less oppressive, which was also reflected in the result, but ultimately Schwäbisch Hall did not have enough to oppose the Braunschweig team and in the end had to admit defeat according to performance.
