The Gmina Bledzew is a rural community in the powiat Międzyrzecki of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the village of the same name ( German Blesen ) with about 1150 inhabitants.

geography

The municipality borders in the southeast on the municipality of the district town of Międzyrzecz (Meseritz) . One of the waters is the Obra , a tributary of the Warta . It is dammed in Bledzew to the Zalew Bledzewski , on which a hydropower plant has been working since 1910 .
