The Gmina Libiąż is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Chrzanowski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with about 17,200 inhabitants.
The municipality is located about 40 km west of Krakow and borders the city of Oświęcim (Auschwitz) .
