The Gmina Maszewo is a rural community in the Powiat Krośnieński of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the village of the same name ( German Messow ) with about 460 inhabitants.

geography

The community is only three kilometers from the German border. It borders in the southeast on the municipality of the district town of Krosno Odrzańskie (Crossen on the Oder) . The most important body of water is the Oder in the south of the municipality.
