The Gmina Stary Targ is a rural municipality in the powiat Sztumski of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name ( German Altmark in West Prussia ).
history
Although at that time a majority voted for annexation to Poland, the area of the municipality came from 1920 to 1939 to the administrative district West Prussia of the Prussian province East Prussia .
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Elbląg Voivodeship .
traffic
The village Mleczewo has a train station, Dąbrówka Malborska has a stop on the Warsaw – Gdańsk railway line . The Szropy, Tropy Igły and Waplewo Wielkie stations were on the disused Małdyty – Malbork railway .
