geography
course
The Gonderbach rises in the southwest of the urban area of Bad Laasphe and the Wittgensteiner Bergland in the southeast part of the Rothaargebirge. Its source is about 350 m east-northeast of the mountain summit of the Kompass ( 694.1 m ), 2.7 km southwest of the center of Bernshausen , 1.9 km northeast of Jagdberg and 1.7 km east-southeast of Heiligenborn . It is located at about 654 m above sea level. NHN ; The Bernshausen Bach rises 400 m to the northeast .
Initially, the Gonderbach flows in a south-easterly direction and feeds a pond after about 750 m. Then it makes a slight bend to the northeast and feeds another small pond near the former Gonderbach mine . Then he makes a bend to the east and passes the Burgberg mountain to the north ( castle ; 563.2 m ).
After passing the Fischelbacher Mühle and the forester's house Burg , the Gonderbach then crosses under the state road 728. Shortly afterwards, at around 408 m above sea level, it joins the Lahn tributary, the Banfe (Fischelbach) , coming from the south , which is 2.4 km long. About 200 m northeast of the estuary in the Großer Bohnstein nature reserve beyond the Fischelbach is the summit of the Großer Bohnstein ( 500.5 m ). The mouth is also located 1 km north-northwest from the center of the stream on the upstream Fischelbach village Fischelbach and 1.5 km west-southwest from the center of the Hesselbach located village Hesselbach ; both are Bad Laaspher districts.
