Goran Ristić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Горан Ристић ; born December 28, 1974 in Novi Sad , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian ice hockey player who played most of his career for clubs in his hometown Novi Sad in the Serbian ice hockey league.

Career

Goran Ristić started his career at HK Vojvodina Novi Sad from his hometown. With the club he was Yugoslavian in 2002 and Serbian-Montenegrin champions in 2003 and 2004. After the third title, he interrupted his career for a year and then joined local rivals HK Novi Sad , with whom he became Serbian runner-up in 2008. After HK Novi Sad stopped playing in 2009, he returned to HK Vojvodina for a year. In 2010 he moved to HK Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian capital, where he ended his career in 2011 by winning the Slohokej League .

International

For Yugoslavia, Ristić took part in the U18 B European Championship in 1992 .

In the men's area Ristić made his debut at the C-World Championship in 1995 for the Yugoslav selection . After the relegation suffered there, he played in 1996 and 1997 in the D group and then again in 1998 and 2000 in the C group. After switching to the current division system, he participated with Yugoslavia in the 2001 and 2002 World Championships in Division II. Then he was active for the Serbian-Montenegrin team and played with her in 2003 , 2004 and 2006 also in Division II. After the break-away of Montenegro, he was in Division II at the 2009 and 2011 World Championships . After the Serbs in 2009 at the home tournament in Novi Sad was promoted for the first time, Ristić played with his team in 2010 in Division I, but had to accept the immediate relegation. In November 2008 he participated with Serbia in the qualifying tournament for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver .
