history
The Waldhufendorf Gospersgrün and the Vorwerk located in the village were first mentioned in 1418 under the name "Goßpergrun". Until the 19th century , the land rulership of the place lay partly with the Thossfell manor , the other part was subordinate as an official village directly to the Electoral Saxon or royal Saxon office of Plauen , to which Gospersgrün belonged until 1856. In 1856 the place was affiliated with the Treuen court office and in 1875 with the Auerbach administration . On June 1, 1886 northwest of the town opened the station Thoßfell at the herlasgrün-oelsnitz railway . Since it was on the land of the Thossfell manor owner, it was given the name Thossfell, although the community of Gospersgrün was much closer. The station was completely abandoned in 1999.
On July 1, 1950, Gospersgrün was incorporated into Treuen. Through the second district reform in the GDR , Gospersgrün came as a district of the city of Treuen in 1952 to the district of Auerbach in the Chemnitz district (renamed Karl-Marx-Stadt district in 1953 ), which was continued as the Saxon "Auerbach district" from 1990 and in 1996 in the Vogtland district rose.
traffic
The federal highway 72 , the federal highway 173 and the railway line Herlasgrün – Falkenstein run northwest of the place . The Thossfell stop , which opened on June 1, 1886, was located on the Gospersgrüner Flur of the railway line . The unoccupied breakpoint was completely abandoned in 1999.
