Darʿā ( Arabic مُحافظة درعا, DMG Muḥāfaẓat Darʿā ) is one of the 14 Syrian governorates and is located in the south-west of the country. Around one million people live in an area of ​​3,730 km² (2010 estimate). The capital of the governorate is Darʿā .
