The Great Greiner is 3201 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Zillertal Alps . The Kleine Greiner ( 2959 m ) lies in front of it to the northwest. The mountain is located near the Furtschaglhaus and is circled by the Berliner Höhenweg . The Großer Greiner was first climbed in 1873 by Karl Zöppritz . As early as 1784, the naturalists Karl Maria Ehrenbert Ritter von Moll and Belsazar Hacquet tried to climb the Great Greiner, which at the time was particularly known for its mineral deposits.
Development
There are no developed or marked paths. Both peaks are very rarely climbed. The ascent is described as steep and uncomfortable.
