Gundula Petrovska (born August 1, 1943 in Königsberg ; † July 12, 2017 ), also Gundula Petrowska , was a German actress .

Career

She received her training from 1962 to 1964 at the State Ballet School Berlin and passed her state examination, after which she worked for several years as a ballet dancer and during this time completed a musical education with a diploma in dance, singing and acting. She mainly appeared in musicals and operettas , such as with Horst Buchholz at the Theater des Westens , where she could be seen in Kiss me, Kate , My Fair Lady and Frau Luna , or with Edith Hancke in the Theater am Kurfürstendamm . She also belonged to the cabaret Die Wühlmäuse and made guest appearances with plays by Richard Harris in Cologne and Düsseldorf .

After her escape from the GDR, she mainly took part in guest appearances in numerous film and television productions, such as Hello, Onkel Doc! , with Günter Pfitzmann in Berliner Weisse mit Schuß , the comedies Mein Gott, Willi! and Didi and the revenge of the disinherited or in Eine Liebe in Deutschland .

In the 1980s she had a ballet school in Berlin-Reinickendorf and lived in Lübars . For her role in the movie Utopia , Petrovska received the Frankfurt Acting Award in 1982 , which was followed by leading roles, such as Loni in the television series Drei Damen vom Grill . For many years she also worked as a partner of Dieter Hallervorden , for example in the comedy series Hallervordens Spott-Light or the family grotesque Zebralla! .

Petrovska was married and had one son. She died in July 2017.
