Gustaf Lindblom
Gustaf "Topsy" Lindblom (born December 3, 1891 in Kristinehamn , † April 26, 1960 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish triple jumper . He started for IFK Norrköping . With a height of 1.86 m, his competition weight was 80 kg.
Gustaf Lindblom was one of eight Swedes who competed in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm in the triple jump. There were also three Norwegians and one Finn among the twenty starters. As a result, the US American Platt Adams in 5th place was the only non-Scandinavian in the top eight. The first three places went to the Swedes Gustaf Lindblom with 14.76 m, Georg Åberg with 14.51 m and Erik Almlöf with 14.17 m.
After his career, Lindblom was with the Idrottsbladet newspaper and later director of a dance theater.
