Gwoździce ( German  Gwosdzütz ) is a village in Upper Silesia . It is located in the municipality of Krapkowice (Krappitz) in the powiat Krapkowicki (district of Krappitz) in the Voivodeship of Opole (Opole).

The place originated in the 18th century at the latest and was mentioned around 1723.

The place was mentioned in 1784 in the book Entries describing Silesia as Quoschü (t) z , belonged to Rogau and was in the Opole district of the Principality of Opole . At that time he had a farm and a few gardeners . In 1865 Gwozdzietz was a Vorwerk of the Rogau manor.

After the division of Upper Silesia, Gwosdzütz remained with the German Empire . In the inter-war period, the place was renamed Troellengrund based on the local trout farm . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Opole .

In 1945 the previously German town came under Polish administration and was then attached to the Silesian Voivodeship and renamed the Polish Gwoździce . In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Krapkowicki .
