Gyüre is a Hungarian community in the county Vásárosnamény in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County .
Geographical location
Gyüre is about seven kilometers northwest of the district town Vásárosnamény . Neighboring communities are Aranyosapáti and Nagyvarsány .
history
The place is over 700 years old. It used to belong to Szatmár County . In 1876 the place came to the Szabolcs county and was the seat of the Tisza district. Gyüre has had a post office since 1900 and a train station since 1905. From 1979 to 1991 the place was united with Nagyvarsány.

traffic
Road No. 4115 runs through Gyüre. The municipality is also connected to the railway line from Záhony to Mátészalka .
