Hahnenberg is a district of the municipality Hellenthal in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia .

The district is located south of Hellenthal. District road 68 leads past the western edge of the village. The small village has no through traffic.

A sad day for the small town was May 14, 2007, when a tornado swept through the town as well as through Rescheid and Urft and caused considerable damage.
