Hainrode is a district of the municipality of Südharz in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .
history
Hainrode was first mentioned in a document on January 8, 1349. At that time the Counts von Hohnstein enfeoffed the brothers von me Rade with the hus zcu Questenberg met den dorf Hattindorf, Swiederswende, Heygenrode , Weningen Linungen, Trebansdorf, Haczichendorf and Wickarterode .
For exactly 16 years, from April 1, 1974 to March 31, 1990, Hainrode was part of the Großleinungen community .
On January 1, 2010, the communities of Hainrode, Bennungen , Breitenstein , Breitungen , Dietersdorf , Drebsdorf , Hayn (Harz) , Kleinleinungen , Questenberg , Roßla , Rottleberode , Schwenda and Uftrungen merged to form the new community of Südharz . At the same time, the Roßla-Südharz administrative association , to which Hainrode belonged, was dissolved.
