Dietersdorf is a district of the municipality of Südharz in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .
Geographical location
Dietersdorf is located in the southern Harz at the end of a cul-de-sac that branches off the Roßla - Hayn (Harz) road.
The small settlement of Karlsrode, which is located north of Dietersdorf, also belonged to the former municipality of Dietersdorf.
history
Dietersdorf belonged to the rule of the Counts of Stolberg . On July 6, 1719 the court village by Count Christoph Friedrich zu Stolberg-Stolberg was to his brother Jost Christian of Stolberg-Rossla assigned to represent it in the office Uftrungen the County of Stolberg-Rossla integrated.

At the same time the administrative community Roßla-Südharz , to which Dietersdorf belonged, was dissolved.
